We already offer private accommodation through our annex and have glamping yurts for those who prefer to disconnect and get away from it all. The History of Balmuirfield House
Dundee once had a thriving jute and textiles industry. Balmuirfield House was originally a dower house built for the widow of Balmuir Estate, built alongside the boating lake/dam that powered the turbines that fed directly into the mill. Later in its life it became a hotel, then one of Dundee's only four star Bed and Breakfasts before becoming a private residence once again. Read the full history here:
